Master The Mainframe: A big iron contest with no experience necessary
College students looking for a challenge can take charge of a world- class system in this nationwide contest. They work with live systems and tackle real-world problems using storage management, Java and DB2. Prizes include T-shirts, iPod nanos and Xbox 360s. IBM announces Accessibility ODF Coding Challenge 2006
Professors: IBM is asking you to help challenge students to create new ways to open up technology to all people, including those with disabilities. The new learning module introduces accessibility and is available to everyone. The contest is available in Canada, China, Japan, and the USA.

IBM recently announced the recipients of the highly competitive 2006 Eclipse Innovation Award for Faculty in support of teaching, research, and community building around Eclipse. Congratulations to our award recipients!

ESC Toulouse Business School creates an "e-management" chair with IBM
This chair aims to create education and research programs about e-management, specifically in the field of aerospace, which already has a dedicated MBA program.
