CodeRuler. Stretch your Java programming skills with this new animated graphical simulator. Born of the 2004 ACM International Collegiate Programming competition, CodeRuler is IBM alphaWorks’ newest fantasy gaming simulator challenge.
CodeRally. CodeRally is a Java-based, real-time programming game based on the Eclipse platform. It uses the Eclipse platform and a very simple API that allows users unfamiliar with Java to easily compete while they learn the Java language. CodeRally was first used at the 2003 ACM International Collegiate Programming Competition.
Robocode. A programming game that teaches Java in a fun, rewarding manner by letting you create Java "Robots," real Java objects that battle it out onscreen against other robots.
Detective Game. An effective teaching tool and an example of an application built using Cloudscape and Eclipse. This combination of eclipse and Cloudscape is really slick and showcases IBM's continued commitment towards open source community.
