Sample code

Sample code can demonstrate how to take advantage of special features, possible options or both—either product-specific or across technologies. Study online samples of working code, or download them and try them in your own environment. Sample code is often included as part of technical papers, books and tutorials. These are sources for sample code:

developerWorks
This Web site is IBM's technical resource for developers, providing a wide range of tools, code, and education on IBM software including Information Management, Lotus, Rational, Tivoli, WebSphere and Workplace, on IBM Systems technology including AIX and UNIX, and on open standards technology such as grid, Linux, Java™ technologies, SOA, Web services, wireless, XML and more.
IBM Redbooks
These publications, named for their original red covers, typically provide positioning and value guidance, installation and implementation experiences, typical solution scenarios, and step-by-step "how-to" guidelines. They often include sample code and other support materials that are also available as downloads from the Web site.
IBM Systems sample code
Use this sample code to learn about programming techniques or use it as an example for your own development efforts on IBM Systems platforms.
