Ready for IBM Rational software best practices are guidelines beyond the mandatory requirements. Best practices specify additional criteria to improve the safety, serviceability, universality, and user experience of your integration.
Best practices compliance can help give you the competitive advantage you need to close incremental business.
To qualify for the Best Practice indicator, you must apply at least 10 best practices to your plug-in. Best practices vary depending on which Rational product or products integrate with your plug-in. To show your compliance you will need to include this information on all applicable best practices in your pretest, and you will need to demonstrate your compliance during your validation session.
