Update your VIC profile to participate in the initiative
Add DB2 Express-C or WebSphere Application Server Community Edition as products of interest to your VIC profile and you qualify for participation in the initiative for Business Partners using open source.
If you are new to the VIC you will be presented the list of product selections when registering. If you already have a VIC profile, sign in to update it:
Select Product selections in the left navigation.
Select DB2 Express-C or WebSphere Application Server Community Edition from the list provided.

Receive personalized technical and marketing assistance
Create a project in the VIC that uses either DB2 Express-C or WebSphere Application Server Community Edition and you will be assigned a project resource manager for personalized assistance accessing your new technical enablement and sales and marketing benefits.
After you sign in to the VIC:
Select Projects in the left navigation.
Select the Create a new project link in the middle of the page.
Select DB2 Express-C or WebSphere Application Server Community Edition.
After completing the form, you will be contacted within two business days for personalized assistance.
