The IBM desktop widget gives you access to IBM news, stock price, and the latest special offers from IBM. You can also search the IBM Web site and find contacts within IBM. The widget resides on your desktop, allowing you to access these features without opening a Web browser.
The widget provides news and special offers for the industry networks, plus links to top stories and promotions for all Business Partners. Currently, these features are available only for the United States.
Get the IBM desktop widget
To receive Business Partner headlines, go to widget preferences after you install the widget, select the I am an IBM Business Partner checkbox, and click the Save button.
Example views
IBM widget: Business Partner
In this view, you can scroll through the latest news headlines and click on the down arrow to view a short description. If you want to visit the Web page associated with the headline, click on the horizontal arrow.
IBM widget: Business Partner promotions
The promotions view works in a similar fashion to the news headlines. You can scroll through the content, read short descriptions, and visit the Web page to learn more and register for the offer.
