Top techniques you need to know to get the most from PartnerWorld Industry Networks

With this newsletter, I'm going to return to the series we started in September about getting the most out of your relationship with IBM in the most efficient and effective manner possible. I've shared with you how to leverage IBM to market your company and products and how you can put our technical resources to work for you. This month, I'm showing you how it can be easier to sell with IBM. There are numerous ways to sell with us, and I'm going to focus on a couple of key ones that I think will help you close business faster.

Leverage IBM Sales Connections
IBM has tens of thousands of sales people around the globe dedicated to delivering solutions with clients. I know that getting their attention can be difficult sometimes. One helpful benefit we have is IBM Sales Connections. It's one of the most effective ways to connect you and your opportunity with IBM sales teams, as well as other IBM Business Partners who can help you close deals faster.

How does it work? Using your IBM ID, complete the form telling us about your opportunity. Your information will remain completely secure and confidential. Within three business days, an IBM representative will contact you and help you close your business deal.

In addition, the benefits status portal allows you to follow what's happening with your lead, just like you're tracking a package. Sales Connections has a great success rate and encourages momentum—the more you use it, the more experience and history you'll have making it easier and more efficient.
