Achieving Advanced level membership in PartnerWorld has its rewards, including enhanced sales and
marketing benefits that can directly impact your bottom line. You can differentiate yourself from the competition
and increase your visibility with IBM executives, sales teams, and other Business Partners as a leader in your industry or region.
Advanced level membership as an ISV Business Partner in PartnerWorld
requires the submission of a customer experience through a straightforward application process.
Renewal, required every 2 years, uses the same process, but with a new and unique customer from previous submissions.
You will then be entitled to a rich set of benefits, including the right to use the
Business Partner Emblem. Review the
PartnerWorld benefits and resources
and additional benefits available through the PartnerWorld Industry Networks.
For assistance in qualifying as an Advanced Business Partner, request support from a marketing resource manager who will guide you to the resources you need.
- Enable your application
Enable your product on an IBM hardware platform (IBM Systems or IBM System Storage)
and at least one IBM middleware product. See the list of
approved IBM hardware and middleware.
This list may be updated periodically at IBM's discretion based on current offerings and IBM strategic direction.
- Create a Global Solutions Directory entry
Ensure your solution is listed in the Global Solutions Directory,
the information is current, and that it includes the IBM hardware and IBM middleware that have been enabled with your solution.
- Install your solution
Install your solution at a customer site running on both IBM hardware with IBM middleware.
- Submit your customer experience
Sign in to Manage solutions
in the Global Solutions Directory and select "Submit a customer experience".
From the application page you can create a new customer experience or work with an existing one.
Complete and submit the application form.
- Customer experience verification
IBM or a representative of IBM will contact your satisfied customer to verify
that your solution is installed in production, running on IBM hardware with
IBM middleware. Once the verification process is complete, you will receive an
e-mail notifying you of the results. The verification process takes approximately
ten business days, but this could be longer based on our success in
contacting your customer.
Consult our frequently asked questions (FAQs) if you need more information.
A customer experience is not a customer reference. It is simply verification that your application
is installed at a customer site running on strategic IBM technologies. Your customer's name is
not published externally.
