IBM Systems Technical Symposium Series
The IBM Systems Technical Symposium Series, including the IBM System x Technical Symposium, will bring together IT executives, managers and professionals for a look into the transformation of IT infrastructures meeting the demands of a smarter planet. Together with IBM senior executives, attendees will explore the breakthrough technologies enabling smarter computing, including Power, z and storage systems that are designed for data, tuned to the task and managed with cloud technologies.
This inaugural event will cover a broad range of topics such as understanding consolidation and virtualization, achieving greater insight from deep analytics, and realizing the return on cloud computing investments. For the first time in Australia, this event will bring together the IBM System x, IBM System z, IBM Power Systems and IBM System z Technical Symposiums all under one roof, running simultaneously, giving attendees the unique opportunity to attend sessions from various streams. Over the course of four days, there will also be keynotes and sessions that address product strategy and technical directions along with workshops for IT professionals to test drive the latest technology in hands-on demos and labs.

At this year’s IBM System x Technical Symposium we will bring together IT professionals and leaders for a look into the transformation of IT infrastructures meeting the demands of a smarter planet.
