How do I order Information Management, Tivoli, Rational and WebSphere AITP course materials?

  1. Go to the Training Resources Authorized Independent Training Provider for IBM Software page on the PartnerWorld Web site
  2. If prompted, sign in using your IBM ID and Password
  3. Choose Education Catalog for Education Business Partners (Rational, Tivoli, WebSphere, and DB2 only)
  4. Click Buy Now
  5. Select the item(s) you wish to purchase, add them to your cart and follow the screens to complete your order

How do I order Lotus AITP Materials, including WebSphere Portal?

All Lotus materials are ordered via Element K. Contact Element K directly for pricing information, ordering and return policy.

When can I return materials and what is the process?

The following policies and procedures apply to IBM materials ordered through the AITP SEPES catalog. They do not apply to Lotus AITP course materials ordered through Element K.

The Authorized Independent Training Provider (AITP) for IBM Software can only return IBM student guide (SG) materials under the following conditions:

  1. Damaged/ Defective:
    Damaged or defective SG materials can be exchanged anytime as long as the same materials are available.
  2. End of Life/ Obsolete:
    Unopened SG materials which have been withdrawn (reached End of Life (EOL) or Obsolete) can be returned within 30 days of the Withdrawal/EOL notification date in exchange for the next version of that student guide title.

The Authorized Independent Training Provider (AITP) for IBM Software can only return IBM student guide (SG) materials under the following conditions:

  1. Damaged/ Defective:
    Damaged or defective SG materials can be exchanged anytime as long as the same materials are available.
  2. End of Life/ Obsolete:
    Unopened SG materials which have been withdrawn (reached End of Life (EOL) or Obsolete) can be returned within 30 days of the Withdrawal/EOL notification date in exchange for the next version of that student guide title.

Please note: any order(s) placed after the withdrawal date will not be exchanged for new materials. If materials have already been exchanged under the RMA policy they cannot be exchanged again for future materials.

How do I make a Return Material Auhorization (RMA) request?

To process an RMA request, Authorized Independent Training Providers (AITP) must complete the online RMA request form at: https://education.lotus.com/rw/cwrma.nsf. IBM will not accept any RMA request forms that are not filled out completely. The form must provide the following information:

  1. The original purchase order (PO)/sales order number from the initial course materials order.
  2. The reason for the RMA request (damaged/defective or obsolete).
  3. A detailed listing of all items being returned (part number, quantity and price).
  4. A new PO/sales order number for the offsetting order you wish to receive (you must place your new order directly through SEPES. Replacement orders will not be fulfilled automatically).

Please Note: A replacement order must be placed in the PartnerWorld Education Catalog (SEPES) prior to submitting an RMA Request Form. The value of the replacement order must be greater than or equal to the value of the materials you intend to return. In addition, the replacement materials must be of the same brand ordered originally.

Once IBM receives an RMA request and reviews the information for accuracy, the AITP will receive an e-mail notification with an assigned RMA number within ten business days of being submitted.

A returned notification e-mail will be supplied by IBM indicating whether the return has been approved, and instruction for how to return your materials. A printed copy of this approval notification must accompany the materials you wish to return. In addition, the assigned number must be clearly written on the outside of all returned shipping boxes (preferably in the lower left-hand corner of each box).
