Jeff Jonas is Chief Scientist, IBM Entity Analytics Group and an IBM Distinguished Engineer. The IBM Entity Analytics Group was formed based on technologies developed by Systems Research & Development (SRD), founded by Jonas in 1984, and acquired by IBM in January, 2005. Prior to the acquisition Jonas lead SRD through the design and development of a number of unique systems including technology used by the Las Vegas gaming industry. One such innovation played a pivotal role in protecting the gaming industry from aggressive card count teams. The most notable known as the MIT team featured in the book "Bringing Down the House", and recent movie "21".

Terri Virnig is a Vice President and the Business Line Executive for Cloud in IBM's Systems and Technology Group. Terri has held multiple positions during her IBM career, including VP in STG Corporate Strategy, and VP of System z Strategy, Marketing and Technical Support. She has also held positions in mainframe software development, systems management strategy, competitive marketing, software design and in the mainframe applications strategy. Outside of STG, Terri has worked in SWG, as the Director of Solutions Marketing.

Frank J. De Gilio is a Distinguished Engineer from IBM’s World Wide Client Technology Centers with a global focus on client enterprise infrastructures. He is the IBM System and Technology Group’s Chief Architect for Cloud Computing. His work has been focused on providing enterprise wide cloud solutions to clients who are interested in leveraging cloud computing. His unique approach looks at an enterprises holistic requirements on cloud, uniting the development, operational and business aspects of the cloud deployment model to ensure that a business is looking at all of the implications of implementing the technology.
Mr. De Gilio has authored a book on J2EE security as well as a number of whitepapers on Infrastructure design and management. He is a regular presenter at user conferences and a number of IBM sponsored venues. Mr. De Gilio holds a number of patents in the system software, Internet, security and infrastructure management fields.

Pat O’Rourke is the technology lead for the IBM Executive Briefing Center in Austin Texas. Pat concentrates on Power technology: Processor roadmaps, Server offerings & directions, Virtualization futures, and Green offerings for Power Systems.
Mr. O’Rourke has been with IBM for 32 years. In the beginning of his IBM tenure, he was involved with IBM Mainframes, and was a Technical Specialist for DOS/VSE, CICS, and VM. Later in his career, he became involved with Personal Computers and IBM RISC System offerings. He has provided technical support, performed sales & marketing functions of IBM UNIX servers and workstations since their introduction in 1990. Pat has been with the Executive Briefing Center for the last 12 years.

The Competitive Project Office is a team of developers that creates competitive information to prove the advantages of IBM software, hardware, and solutions over competitors. The work requires hands-on lab construction, evaluation, and benchmarking of solutions for various business scenarios.

Ajay Dholakia is a Senior Technical Staff Member in the IBM Systems and Technology Group, working on IBM System x Software Strategy with a focus on cloud computing, virtualization, security and related topics. His current focus is on identifying customer needs in the area of current and emerging IT infrastructures and driving solutions that combine value-added software on best-of-breed hardware. He has been with IBM for over 15 years and has worked on data communications, data storage, and server technologies and systems, doing projects that involved research, technology and product development as well as business and technical strategy development. Ajay holds over 25 patents and has been named a Master Inventor at IBM in RTP, NC. He has authored or co-authored over 40 technical publications, including a book. He is a Senior Member of IEEE. Ajay holds an MBA degree from Henley Business School in UK and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA.

Steve Will

Steve Will is the Chief Architect for the IBM i Operating System. Steve joined IBM in Rochester, Minnesota in January 1985 after receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Luther College, and his Masters Degree in Computer Science from Purdue University. Steve has worked as a software programmer, designer and architect at all operating system levels, from the communication between processors to integrated security to web programming enablement. In his role as Chief Architect, he is responsible for the strategy and plan for IBM i, a Power Systems operating system used by over one hundred thousand enterprises world wide. He is a frequent speaker at customer events, collects requirements from customer advisory groups, and works with professionals both inside and outside IBM on future technology.

Mark has an extensive history with product planning and announcements of Power Systems and their predecessor products for 20+ years. Prior to that, Mark was an IBM Sales Representative/Systems Engineer. He resides in Rochester, Minnesota, USA.

As part of the IBM POWER Systems marketing team, Jay's responsibilities include product positioning, driving future product directions, and evangelizing the capabilities and future directions for AIX. Jay has held a variety of roles at IBM including systems administrator, manager of the AIX Architecture team, product manager at Tivoli, presenter on the Austin Briefing center staff, a SAP systems management consultant, a member of the AIX development team and a mainframe system programmer and administrator. In his spare time, Jay enjoys cooking, hiking, camping and flying private planes.
