Nicolas Sekkaki is Vice President of System and Technology Group Europe for IBM since January 2013.
A graduate of ENSAE (Supaéro), Nicolas Sekkaki began his career in IBM in 1990, with successful sales roles in industrial, government and insurance client sectors. Following an assignment in 1999 to IBM Corporate headquarters in the US, in September 2000 he then was he was appointed the Director of Sales of zSeries Mainframe division for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), based in England. In 2002, he moved to the role of Vice-President of the division "System Sales" (Servers and Storage) for France, and became a member of the Executive Committee of IBM France. He was appointed General Manager in 2007 in charge of IBM Global Technology Services, France. In 2010 he became CEO and corporate officer of SAP France.
William J. Starke
Hardware Architect, DE: POWER Server Nest Architect

Mr. Starke is the Distinguished Engineer for the Power systems storage subsystem. He is responsible for shaping the processor cache hierarchy, symmetric multi-processor (SMP) interconnect, cache coherence, memory and I/O controllers, accelerators, and logical system structures for the entire family of Power servers. Based in Austin, Texas, he leads a large engineering team spanning multiple geographies. Mr. Starke’s innovative solutions span technology, chipset, and system constructs, bringing the balanced scaling, RAS, energy efficiency, and performance characteristics that have established Power Systems as the dominant platform for virtualization, consolidation, and mission critical UNIX deployments. Mr. Starke has been employed by IBM for over 20 years in several roles spanning mainframe and Power systems performance analysis, logic design, and microarchitecture. Over the past decade he has served as the storage subsystem Chief Architect for POWER6, POWER7, POWER8, and follow-on design points that are currently in development. Mr. Starke is a prolific inventor, holding over 180 U.S. patents in addition to several currently pending.
