The 2013 Schedule and Directory are available! A link to an online version will be sent via email to registered participants the week prior to the event with a schedule builder feature.
Registration
Registration fee - USD $1750
Your registration fee includes admittance to all of the 2013 Exceptional Web Experience Conference keynote and elective sessions, Product Expo, labs, breakfast Monday through Thursday, lunch Monday through Wednesday, and scheduled refreshment breaks. Also included are receptions on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Individual travel expenses, lodging, incidental expenses and additional meals are not included in the conference fee and will be paid by each attendee at the time the expense is incurred. Additional fees apply for Certification tests once you have taken advantage of your free test. The registration fee may be paid for by IBM Education Pack - online account, credit card or check.
Every registration, including those paid for by check, must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. All credit card information will be validated and charges for the conference will be billed 30 days in advance of the conference start date. We highly recommend that attendees register early to ensure a hotel room (before the IBM room block is exhausted); however, they will not be charged the registration fee until 30 days prior to the conference date.
When you enroll for the conference your hotel room will be reserved at the conference rate when you respond "Yes" to the hotel required question (see “Hotel” section regarding in-room Internet). The conference registration desk will be open on Sunday, 19 May 2013, between 4 pm and 7 pm and at 7 am on Monday, 20 May 2013. The conference opens with the opening keynote session on Monday, 20 May 2013 at 8:30 am, preceded by breakfast beginning at 7 am. The conference closes at noon on Thursday, 23 May 2013. We are also encouraging early enrollment so that you can book your travel as the conference concludes the Thursday leading in to the US Memorial Day holiday weekend.
Upon enrolling, you will receive an email from IBM_Training@us.ibm.com. If you don’t receive it almost immediately, please check your spam/junk folders and add the ID to your address book to receive future updates about your conference enrollment. If you need this confirmation email at a later date, you can go to the enrollment link and request to have it resent. Please review the Cancellation & No Show Policy prior to enrolling.
If you have a U.S. IBM Education Pack - online account, you can use it to cover your full conference registration fee. Education Packs cannot be combined with any other discounts including the volume discount or the One or Two Day Pass options. If your company is purchasing multiple conference seats for this training event and/or has other classroom training needs, this can be a great savings option! Please review the Cancellation & No Show Policy prior to enrolling.
The event room rate is USD $171 single/double. Currently, a 16.4% tax is in effect. The current US government rate is $171 and may be adjusted to the prevailing rate in effect during the event dates before May 2013. A limited number of rooms are available at this rate and are allocated based on enrollment date. Please have your US government ID available at hotel check-in for the hotel registration staff to verify your eligibility.

- Register Four Attendees Volume pricing. For every four individuals from a single company who register for IBM Exceptional Web Experience 2013 at the full registration price, the registration price of one of the four enrollments will be refunded after the conclusion of the event (Value: $1,750 USD). In order to qualify, all four registered individuals from the company must attend the event.
To secure the Business Partner discount, please select "Yes" to the question "Are you a Business Partner?" in the enrollment form.
To enroll for a One or Two Day Pass option, select Attendee-One Day Pass or Attendee-Two Day Pass in the enrollment system. This offer is limited to Client and IBM Business Partner attendees only. No additional discounts can be combined with the One or Two Day Pass option.
To secure a 10% Special Group discount the following conditions apply:
Prior to registering for the special group discounts pricing, registrants should obtain a unique Special Group Promotion Code. This Promotion Code should be entered into the "Promotion Code" section of the enrollment form in order to obtain the promotional discount associated with this offer. Promotion Codes can be obtained as follows:
- Alumni Attendees of the 2012 Exceptional Web Experience Event will receive an email in February 2013 that contains the Promotion Code to use during enrollment. Use of the Promotion Code requires an individual's personal attendance at the 2012 event. Questions pertaining to Event Alumni, contact pelaia@us.ibm.com .
- IBM Champions for Collaboration Solutions will receive an email in February 2013 that contains the Promotion Code to use during enrollment. Use of the Promotion Code requires that the individual be an IBM Champion for Collaboration Solutions. Questions pertaining to IBM Champions, contact Joyce_Davis@us.ibm.com .
- WebSphere User Group members must visit the WebSphereUserGroup.org website for the Promotion Code available to registered group members. Use of the Promotion Code requires that the individual be a registered member of the WebSphere User Group. Questions pertaining to WebSphere User Group, contact - akrossi@us.ibm.com .
Eligibility will be validated and event fees will be adjusted if it is determined that the registrant does not qualify as an Event Alumni, IBM Champion, or WebSphere User Group member. To secure the Register Four Attendees Volume pricing the following conditions apply:
In order to obtain the refund associated with the register Four Attendees offer, registrants must obtain a unique Promotion Code and enter it into the "Promotion Code" section of their enrollment form no later than May 19, 2013. To obtain a Promotion Code, send an email to pelaia@us.ibm.com . Include the names of the four individuals who plan to attend as well as the name of your IBM representative in the email.
At the conclusion of the event, IBM will contact each company that qualified for a refunded registration in order to process the refund. To qualify, a Promotion Code must have been included in all four registrations no later than May 19, 2013, and all four individuals must have attended.
Only one refund will be processed per group of four attendees. Allow 4-6 weeks for the refund to be made. The refund will be made in the same form as payment was made during initial registration. For all discount types, if requested in advance of the event, while the applicable discount will be initially confirmed in the confirmation e-mail, eligibility will be verified. Please respond to requests for proof of eligibility and plan to present proof at conference registration or your enrollment fee may be adjusted.
There is a limit of one discount per enrollment regardless of type of discount.
