
Overview
When to arrive
Attendees of the conference should plan to arrive on either Sunday, June 9th during the day or Monday, June 10th early in the morning.
The conference starts on Monday, June 10th at 10:00am with the keynote session.
The sessions end on Friday, June 14th at 1pm followed by lunch until 2:30pm.
Arrival by Car
Coming from Munich Airport
Follow signs in direction of Munich and go onto the motorway (Autobahn) A92. Exit A92 at Unterschleißheim, Haimhausen and turn left to Unterschleißheim. Follow the street for approximately 150 m; on the cross road turn right into Landshuter Straße and follow the road for approximately 2 km before turning right to Andreas-Danzer-Weg.
Coming from Munich City Centre
Follow Leopoldstrasse and drive forward to Ingolstädter Strasse when you have left Munich follow the B13. Stay on for approximately 11 km. Leave B13 on the third exit for Unterschleißheim and turn left into Landshuter Straße (St 2342). Enter Unterschleißheim and follow the road for approximately 2 km before turning right to Andreas-Danzer-Weg.
Coming from Nürnberg
Leave Nürnberg and take the motorway A9 at connection point (52) Nürnberg-Fischbach in direction of München. Stay on for approximately 133 km. At the motorway interchange (4) Kreuz Neufahrn/68, change from A9 onto the A92 in direction of Stuttgart, München-West for 4km. Leave A92 in direction of Unterschleißheim, Haimhausen and turn left to Unterschleißheim. Follow the street for approximately 150 Meters, on the cross road turn right into Landshuter Straße and follow the road for approximately 2 km before turning right to Andreas-Danzer-Weg.
Coming from Stuttgart
Leave Stuttgart and take the B27 for 4 km before joining the A8 at connection point (52b) Stuttgart-Degerloch in the direction of München, Ulm. Continue for 192 km. At the motorway interchange (79) Dreieck München-Eschenried change from A8 onto the A99 to Salzburg, Nürnberg, Deggendorf, München-Ost. Follow the A99 for 11.5 km. At the motorway interchange (11) Dreieck München-Feldmoching/1 change from A99 onto the A92 to Nürnberg, Deggendorf, München. Follow the A92 for 10.07 km.

Arrival by Plane or by Train
By Plane
You can fly to Munich from many international airports. More info can be found at www.munich-airport.de
The Munich International Airport began operation in 1992 and is named in memory of politician Franz Josef Strauss. The airport is growing in traffic and is offering many transportation options including the S bahn service, which is covered with a rail pass. This station makes it easy for travelers to get to and from Munich’s city center with the least amount of hassle.
Trains S-Bahn S1, S8 (approximately 40 minutes to Munich city center)
Direction from Munich Airport to Dolce Munich
Take the S-Bahn S1 (speed train) in the direction of Munich city / Ostbahnhof and exit at Unterschleißheim. Then from the Unterschleißheim station, take Bus 215 (Lohhof Nord). Exit at bus stop Max-Planck-Straße/BallhausForum.
You can also take a taxi (approximately 7 minutes from Unterschleißheim train station).
By Train
Located in the centre of Munich, Munchen Hauptbahnhof (Munich Main Station) is close to Marienplatz. This station is one of the largest in Germany and provides both regional and international service. Also, the Munchen Hauptbahnhof provides S bahn service, which is covered with a rail pass.

Directions from the main Railway station to Dolce Hotel
Take the S-Bahn S1 (speed train) in the direction of Freising/Flughafen (=Airport) until Unterschleißheim. Then from the Unterschleißheim station, take Bus 215 (Lohhof Nord). Exit at bus stop Max-Planck-Straße/BallhausForum.
You can also take a taxi (approximately 7 minutes from Unterschleißheim train station).
Public Transport within Munich
Munich has an extensive public transportation system. It consists of a network of underground (U-Bahn), suburban trains (S-Bahn), trams and buses. Subway stations are marked with signs showing a white "U" on a blue background. The S-Bahn suburban lines are marked with a white "S" on a green background. Tram and bus stops are marked with a green "H" inside a green circle on a yellow background.
All S-Bahn suburban lines go through the city center and connect Munichs Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) to East Station (Ostbahnhof) with popular tourist destinations like Marienplatz and Karlsplatz in between.
The same ticket is valid for all these forms of public transportation.You don't need different tickets, if you move from train to tram to bus.
Tickets can be purchased at the blue vending machines, found at U- and S-Bahn-stations, at many tram and bus stops and newspaper kiosks.
Tariffs and Tickets:
There are different types of tickets: Single Tickets (called "Einzelfahrkarte"), Stripe Tickets (called "Streifenkarte") and Day Tickets (called "Tageskarte").
Single Day Ticket inner zone (Single Tageskarte Innenraum) 5,60 €
Single 3 Day Ticket inner zone (Single 3-Tagekarte Innenraum 13,80 €
Single Day Ticket XXL area (Single Tageskarte XXL) 7,50 €
Single Day Ticket entire network (Single Tageskarte Gesamtnetz) 11,00 €
Alternatives to the Day Ticket: Single Ticket (Einzelfahrkarte) or Stripe Ticket (Streifenkarte).
Single Ticket (Einzelfahrkarte) good for one single trip in one direction, valid for three hours. Normal trip within Munich 2,50 €, for trips outside Munich the price is dependend on the zone of the destination.
There is also available a version of the Single Ticket: the Short Distance Ticket (Kurzstrecke), good for up to four stops on all transportation means, but only two stops of these on U- or S-Bahn, valid for one hour: 1,20 €. Press the orange button at the vending machine marked "K".
Stripe Ticket (Streifenkarte) can be used for several trips. Within Munich you must stamp two stripes. There is a small discount compared with Single Tickets, you can save a few cents.

Taxis in Munich
Alongside the well developed network of buses and trains in Munich, there are many of taxis running on the roads of Munich city. The taxis of Munich city are cream in color. You are allowed to hail taxis on the streets or book them by phone. There is a central agency called Taxizentrale Munchen (Ph: +40 (0) 89 21 610 or +49 (0) 89 19 410) or Isarfunk Taxizentrale (Ph: +49 (0) 89 45 05 40).
