The IBM IMS Technical Symposium 2012 is pleased to welcome you at the KTC Königstein Communication and Training Center in Königstein, near Frankfurt am Main.
The KTC Königstein is a certified conference hotel, located within a protected nature area, 20 minutes away from Frankfurt. The hotel has 168 own free parking lots.
With 217 guest rooms and 40 conference rooms with natural daylight, the hotel offers a modern and exclusive ambiance at the same time.

Please note that you are responsible for your hotel booking and that your hotel reservation is not part of your registration to the event. Substitutions and cancellations must be made directly to the hotel.
For the conference attendees, we are currently holding some hotel rooms at the KTC Königstein (where the conference takes place) at a discounted rate of 85,95€ (breakfast and WLAN included). Reservations must be made directly to the hotel.

Sport & leisure
You want to relax or prefer sport after before or after a full conference day? The KTC offers many leisure facilities to do whatever you wish: Enjoy our spa area with pool, sauna, steam bath, and solarium or work out at our gym with modern equipment. It doesn’t matter if you start the day with sport or work out after work: The pool and fitness area is open daily from 6 am – 12 pm. If you like you can even make use of our massage service (advance reservation is necessary).
Enjoy your spare time by playing billiard, tabletop football, board games or by spending your time in our cozy K1 lounge bar. Alternatively you can use our bowling alley or use our public areas, where you can get together with your friends. In our Bar4U you can watch all important sporting events.
Do you prefer to spend your spare time in nature?
Located in the midst of a large park, the KTC Königstein offers perfect possibilities for playing table tennis, boule and badminton. Enjoy fresh air and make use of numerous jogging or hiking trails in the nearby located Taunus forest. Are you interested in Nordic walking or yoga? Königstein im Taunus
Königstein im Taunus is near the city of Frankfurt am Main, set on the southern slopes of the Taunus hills. The beautiful location and pleasant climate have attracted several clinics to the town, which has a high reputation as a convalescence and spa resort. Königstein and its districts Falkenstein, Mammolshain and Schneidhain are also popular living areas for many of those who work in Frankfurt/Main or the surrounding Rhein-Main region. The origin of the castle and the town are lost in time. Legend says that the Frankonian king Chlodwig (466—511) founded the fortress on the present castle heights together with a chapel in the valley below.
