Terry has provided strategic design and infrastructure evaluation services for companies around the world. Working with companies like ConAgra, Deutsche Bank, W.W. Granger, Kaiser Permanente, The London Stock Exchange, Bose and Hershey, Terry has provided IT management with strategic perspectives on IT directions, technology analysis, and deployment alternatives for strategic programs and initiatives. He has also worked closely with technology industry vendors like HP, IBM, Digital Equipment, Unisys, Intel, Fujitsu-Siemens and Compaq on competitive product positioning and strategic technical strategies.

Pat has been with IBM for 32 years. In the beginning of his IBM tenure, he was involved with IBM Mainframes, and was a Technical Specialist for DOS/VSE, CICS, and VM. Later in his career, he became involved with Personal Computers and IBM RISC System offerings. He has provided technical support, performed sales & marketing functions of IBM UNIX servers and workstations since their introduction in 1990. Pat has been with the Executive Briefing Center for the last 12 years.

Mark is heavily involved with the definition of future Power Systems hardware products and the education of customers, IBMers, and IBM Business Partner sales personnel on new hardware product and system offering announcements. These announcements cover hardware used by both IBM i, AIX and Linux. Mark has an extensive history with product planning and announcements of Power Systems and their predecessor products for 20+ years. Prior to that, Mark was an IBM Sales Representative/Systems Engineer. He resides in Rochester, Minnesota, US

AIX Trends and DirectionsAs part of the IBM POWER Systems marketing team, Jay's responsibilities include product positioning, driving future product directions, and evangelizing the capabilities and future directions for AIX. Jay has held a variety of roles at IBM including systems administrator, manager of the AIX Architecture team, product manager at Tivoli, presenter on the Austin Briefing center staff, a SAP systems management consultant, a member of the AIX development team and a mainframe system programmer and administrator. In his spare time, Jay enjoys cooking, hiking, camping and flying private planes.

She works with the IBM i marketing and development teams to ensure that the IBM i Operating System reflects client requirements. Having worked in the mid-range area for more than 30 years, Alison has held a wide variety of positions at IBM, primarily with midrange servers and software. She has held a range of positions including field Systems Engineer, an instructor in Customer Technical Education, national support representative for IBM Canada, and Worldwide Technical Marketing support representative for the development tools and compilers from the IBM Toronto Laboratory. Alison is a regular speaker at industry and technical conferences around the world.

What's new with DS8000, Storage OptimizationBrian Sherman is a Distinguished Engineer in IBM Canada. Brian has over twenty eight years experience as a Storage I/T Specialist since joining IBM from McMaster University in 1985 with a Mathematics and Computer Science Degree. Brian has worked directly with clients in various storage related roles covering level 2 software support, implementation services, Systems Engineer and Advanced Technical Support.
Brian currently provides Storage Hardware and Software technical sales, support and competitive responsibility across the Americas as part of the Growth Markets Unit and Americas Advanced Technical Support (ATS) organization. He also develops and provides World Wide technical education on new Storage Hardware and Software product launches, develops Storage best practices and participates on several Storage Product Development Teams.
