The application developer is responsible for developing the functional aspects of the business applications as designed by the solution architect as well as creating solution prototypes that can be used to validate ideas and business needs. The application developer is expected to be able to implement design elements, make specific implementation decisions, develop installation artifacts, implement test elements, execute unit tests, analyze runtime behavior and adjust malfunctioning elements, as well as orchestrate the creation of solution prototypes and test them against corporate business needs.
