Course description: Attaching DS4700/DS4800 to IBM i Workshop

Learn the architecture and structure of the DS4700 and DS4800 Storage products. These products are designed to provide highly flexible and highly reliable disk units to a VIOS environment. The course will provide an overview of both products, hardware needed to connect a DS to Hosted i partition in a VIOS environment. The class will also include performance information and sizing. Finally, a discussion of the implementation steps will be provided. This workshop is being thought by Chuck Stupca-from the iTC in Rochester High Availability and External Storage team. Prior to joining the iTC he was a member of the cluster development team.
