Role
The application developer is responsible for developing the functional aspects of the business applications as designed by the solution architect as well as creating solution prototypes that can be used to validate ideas and business needs. The application developer is expected to be able to implement design elements, make specific implementation decisions, develop installation artifacts, implement test elements, execute unit tests, analyze runtime behavior and adjust malfunctioning elements, as well as orchestrate the creation of solution prototypes and test them against corporate business needs. p>
Assumptions
It is assumed that the individual following this roadmap has basic skills in the following areas:
- Working knowledge of underlying operating system platforms
- Procedural language, Java, or J2EE developer skills
- Basic knowledge of application design and programming
- Application development experience
- Ability to analyze runtime behavior and adjust malfunctioning elements ents
Objectives
