Users of IBM SPSS Statistics that will have as their primary role to analyze data. Users responsible for building classification (predicting an outcome based on a set of input fields), segmentation (dividing the data into clusters of records that have similar patterns of input fields), or association models (creating rule sets that define relationships between fields).
Users responsible for setting up data sources (data extraction, merging data tables and transforming data) to allow for building models in a later stage.
IBM SPSS Decision Management
New users of the IBM SPSS Decision Management applications responsible for building models, monitoring and defining risk, building business rules and/or managing campaigns learn the skills and actions needed. A user may require one or more of these activities in their daily role.
IBM Social Media Analytics 1.1
Understands and analyzes marketing trends. Determines how well a company’s products and services are received by customers. Analyzes how products are discussed on social media. Uses statistical calculations and dashboards to determine public sentiment about goods and services and to compare those of a competitor. Marketing analysts and members of the office of the Chief Marketing Officer of a company are included in this role.
