Administrators install and configure rule management and execution environments. They are also responsible for deploying and configuring the server and database for Decision Center and Rule Execution Server and managing user access to these components. They have other responsibilities including configuring trace data sources for testing, deploying applications, redeploying rulesets and event assets after changes, generating detailed execution reports, tracking and monitoring rule execution and restoring a particular application state.
