Claiming your $100 Visa gift card

Eligible students that have completed an eligible course will receive an email with instructions on how to register to receive the Gift Card. The Visa gift card will be directly mailed to the student. You will also be required to accept the Visa terms and conditions related to the gift card.

Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to this promotion: When enrolling in classes under the terms of this promotion, you must reference priority code 6N8AR2DE in order to be eligible to receive a no-charge Visa Gift Card. This promotion cannot be combined with other IBM discounts on the eligible IBM public training classes, or any other IBM education offerings, including the IBM Education Pack - online account. In the event that the eligible IBM public training class is canceled by IBM during the promotional period, IBM will honor the promotion for the canceled enrollments for a future eligible IBM Systems public training class, as long as the future eligible class is completed no later than February 26, 2010. You will be charged the full price of a public class if you do not cancel or reschedule your enrollment at least seven calendar days prior to the scheduled start date or if you do not show up for the class. However, you may cancel your class enrollment at any time within the three days following your initial or any rescheduled enrollment date without charge. To cancel an enrollment, call 1-800-IBM-TEACH (1-800-426-8322). Substitutions of enrolled students in scheduled Classes are permitted prior to the Class start on the first day. Students who cancel their class enrollment, do not attend, or request a credit or refund will not be eligible for a no-charge Visa Gift Card. Within three weeks of the conclusion of an eligible class, IBM will send an e-mail to each student who qualifies for a no-charge Visa Gift Card, requesting that they provide IBM with a shipping address for use when shipping the no-charge Visa Gift Card. Shipping addresses must be provided to IBM no later than December 31, 2009 in order to receive a no-charge Visa Gift Card. Recipients of the Visa Gift Cards must register their card in their name at the Visa Web site identified in the instructions included with the card. The card holder is responsible for the terms and conditions of the Visa Gift Card agreed to upon card activation, and is responsible for any replacement fee if lost or stolen. Allow 6-12 weeks after IBM receives your shipping address for your no-charge Visa Gift Card to arrive. The value of the Visa Gift Card under the terms and conditions of this promotion cannot be provided to you in the form of a cash payment. Travel and living expenses incurred while attending an IBM public training class are the responsibility of the student. Your acceptance of a no-charge Visa Gift Card is based upon the understanding that your employer will not object to your receiving a gift card from IBM. You are responsible for any taxes associated with receipt of this gift card. IBM reserves the right to modify or withdraw this promotion at any time.
