This Instructor-Led On-line seminar focuses on specific needs of the class, determined from the pretest assessment of students preparing to take the IBM Professional Certification exam for the Tivoli Process Automation Engine (TPAE). Prior to class you must complete the skills assessment to determine your current proficiency level. The purpose of this exam is to identify key areas that will be covered in class. You will receive a second voucher to take a second proficiency exam at a time of your choosing to assess your progress after the class is completed. These exams are included in your tuition.
NOTE: When you participate in this class you will receive a third voucher which entitles you to take the Professional Certification exam for Maximo Asset Management 7.1 Implementation.

This is an advanced program for customers, Business Partners, and IBMers who want a review of specific skills before Certification testing.
Prerequisites
This class is intended to be a review of topics covered on the IBM Professional Certification exam. You are expected to have mastered the topics outlined in the exam objectives document for this test as published on www.ibm.com/certify and have hands-on experience working with the product prior to attending this review class.

Certification
This course helps students prepare for Test 000-017, Foundations of Tivoli Process Automation Engine. This is a core exam that is in the roadmap for several different Tivoli Professional Certifications.
Remarks
To participate in both the lectures and labs for this course, the student workstation must meet the following hardware requirements:
- Minimum of 256 MB of memory
- Windows 98 or higher
- Headset with microphone, or separate microphone and speakers
- Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher
- 128-bit encryption (Versions of Internet Explorer prior to version 6.0 and Windows 98, NT 4.0, and 2000 must have the High Encryption Packs installed)
- Citrix ICA Client (Installed when you access e-lab during class)
- High speed internet (56K bps or higher)
NOTE: The Citrix application (web client or full package) requires access to port 443 (https). Please ensure personal and corporate firewalls have this port open.
