This is an online course. Please do not make travel arrangements for this course. After you receive confirmation that you are enrolled, you will be sent further instructions to access audio, video and remote labs. This course discusses the new features available in IBM Informix Dynamic Server V11, including new features added for V11.5. There will be several labs accompanying this course which will allow the student to get hands-on experience with some of these new features. This course is the Instructor Led OnLine version of classroom course IX301.

- Install and configure Informix Dynamic Server 11.
- Use new SQL routines to execute administrative commands and create tasks.
- Describe and use new backup and restore features.
- Explain the new checkpoint features of IDS 11 and how they enhance fault tolerance.
- Describe and demonstrate the use of new database administration features of Informix Dynamic Server 11.
- Execute queries that use new SQL features.
- List and describe new Hierarchical Dynamic Retrieve (HDR) and ER features.
- Explain Remote Standalone Secondary replication and set up an RSS server.
- Explain Shared Disk Secondary replication and configure an SDS node.
