This is an online course. Please do not make travel arrangements for this course. After you receive confirmation that you are enrolled, you will be sent further instructions to access audio, video and remote labs. This course will teach you the basic concepts of data management within IDS. It discusses how to determine correct data types; how to create, manage and maintain tables and indexes; how the IDS optimizer works; how to manage data; and how to utilize the SET EXPLAIN feature to determine query effectiveness.The course and lab exercises are updated for Version 11.5 of Informix Dynamic Server, but is suitable for those still running previous versions of IDS. This course is the Instructor Led OnLine (ILO) version of IX221.
