This 3-day instructor-led introductory course teaches students the fundamentals of VoiceXML application development using IBM Rational Application Developer and the IBM WebSphere Voice Toolkit. The WebSphere Voice Toolkit is an enhanced collection of technologies that makes it easy to develop VoiceXML applications by providing the tools to build, debug, and deploy voice applications across the IBM WebSphere Voice family.
This course provides students with an introduction to the telephony environment, speech and text-to-speech concepts, and IBM voice products, as well as the methodology used to develop VoiceXML applications. Students learn about the features and functions in the IBM WebSphere Voice Toolkit that are used to build static VoiceXML applications. Extensive hands-on exercises give students practical experience using IBM Rational Application Developer and the IBM WebSphere Voice Toolkit to build VoiceXML applications, grammars, and audio.
