Self-paced virtual classroom (SPVC) courses provide the same deep technical content as WebSphere Education classroom courses, but allow you to learn on your own schedule. You can stop and start a self-paced virtual class as needed during the 60-day access period.

There is no live instructor for this course, so it might not be appropriate for students who require the guidance of a live instructor.

This self-paced virtual course teaches you the purpose, architecture, and information model of IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository V8.

IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository provides a robust, centrally managed system of record for service artifacts within a service-oriented architecture (SOA). Your organization can get more business value from your SOA by using WebSphere Service Registry and Repository to store, access, and manage service metadata so that services can be effectively shared, managed, and governed.

This course uses a combination of self-paced lectures and demonstrations. You learn how to perform administrative and configuration tasks with the web UI web application. A demonstration introduces you to the two web user interfaces: the web UI and Business Space.
