A 5-day intensive instructor-led online course designed to teach the basics of configuration management and how to use, implement, and administer IBM Rational ClearCase environments.
- Part 1 (2 days): Learn how to perform common day-to-day tasks in Rational ClearCase. Focus on the concepts and skills you need to successfully manage source code change in your development environment.
- Part 2 (1 day): Learn the basics of Software Configuration Management (SCM) and the attributes of effective SCM. Learn what to include in a configuration management plan and how to write a usage model, which includes details about organizing project artifacts, branching strategies, and project process and policies.
- Part 3 (2 days): Learn how to set up and manage a ClearCase implementation from initial project planning through configuration, installation, and ongoing administration.
Web Based Training (WBT): Access the entire catalog of IBM Rational WBT courses for a 30 day trial.
