Course description: IBM Rational ClearCase UCM Boot Camp for Windows (O)

• Part 1 (1 day): Explore the concepts of IBM Rational ClearCase Unified Change Management (UCM), Rational's software development best practice that integrates artifact and activity management. Learn to use Rational ClearCase UCM and Rational ClearQuest to perform common, day-to-day software development tasks such as joining a project, checking out files from source control and checking in files to source control, merging your work with the work of others, updating your workspace, and working offline.

• Part 2 (2 days): Learn the basics of Software Configuration Management (SCM) using UCM. Learn how to plan, implement, and manage ClearCase UCM effectively in a development environment.

• Part 3 (2 days): Learn how to set up and manage a ClearCase implementation from initial project planning through configuration, installation, and ongoing administration.
