In this hands-on lab course, youwill start with creation of portlet projects and basic portlets. From there, they will progress quickly into aspects of portlet customization and flexibility. They will also learn several methods to support inter-portlet communication, as well as data access. All of these activities will be pursued from a best practices perspective.

This intermediate course is designed for portlet application developers, integration specialists, and software architects responsible for developing solutions using IBM WebSphere Portal V6.1.
Prerequisites
You should have:
- J2EE application development skills, specifically servlet and JSP development experience
- Basic knowledge of portals and WebSphere Portal
