This in-depth, two-day instructor-led course introduces existing WebSphere Portal administrators to the new features in WebSphere Portal 6.1.5 and 7.0 and provides hands-on labs that will allow you to explore the new features. You will learn about how these enhancements affect administration of the WebSphere Portal platform. This course is designed for WebSphere portal administrators experienced with administration interfaces such as portlets, XML access, scripting, WebSphere Application Server Administrative Console, and so forth.

Prerequisites

You should:

  • Complete the following WebSphere Portal courses or have equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience:
    • IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1 Administration 1 and 2 (WP731)

You should be familiar with WebSphere Portal administration interfaces, including WPscript, XML access, and WebSphere Application Administrative Console.
