This course covers elements of Tivoli's process automation engine 7.5 that are common to all products based on the engine. It is the prerequisite for more advanced training on IBM's Service Mangement products.
The course is technical and includes hands-on labs. In addition to abstract concepts and use, technical details of the applications and data structures used by IBM Service Management applications are explained.
This is a self-paced course with hands-on labs. Within 48 hours of enrollment, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing your online link, ID and password, and additional instructions for starting the course. You may start the course at any time. Once you start the course, you have 60 days to complete it.
Audience
This intermediate course is for implementers, deployment and project teams, system administrators, database administrators, and consultants who are new to Tivoli's process automation engine and will be using IBM Service Management products.

Machine requirements
To participate in both the lectures and labs for this course, your workstation must meet the following hardware requirements:
- Minimum of 256 MB of memory
- Windows 98 or higher
- Headset with microphone, or separate microphone and speakers
- Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher
- 128-bit encryption (Versions of Internet Explorer prior to version 6.0 and Windows 98, NT 4.0, and 2000 must have the High Encryption Packs installed)
- Citrix™ ICA Client (Installed when you access e-lab during class)
- High speed internet (56K bps or higher)
