- Added support for Federal Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC), Advanced Encryption Standard, and IPv6
- Enhancements to FileNet Content Manager object model and database support
- BPM Mashups and ECM Widgets, which use IBM Mashup Center technology to enable rapid UI development
- API enhancements, including direct use of WSDL 4.0 with FileNet Content Engine and the addition of the REST API to support BPM Mashups
- BPM Process Designer adds Diagram and Document mode, so the tool can be used effectively by business process experts with minimal training
