In this course, students will learn about some of the new features introduced in Informix Dynamic Server, Version 11. They will learn how to use the new installation process to install IDS and other product components. They will also be introduced to the new 'MACH-11' replication features and will learn some basic information about configuring and administering the replication servers. Students will also learn how to implement greater security using the new Label-Based Access Control feature. In addition to system administration skills, students will also be introduced to new features that will be of interest to application developers.
This innovative self-paced online format is available from IBM Training and gives you the opportunity to complete the course at your convenience, at any location, and at your own pace. Once you have accessed the course, instructor help is available via the course forum Monday through Friday; questions will be responded to within 24 hours. The course is available 24 hours a day.
