This tutorial introduces the basics of the DB2 products and tools, along with the concepts of data warehousing and OLAP. It contains tutorials designed to help you prepare for the DB2 V9 Family Fundamentals Certification (Exam 730). DB2 installation is not covered in this tutorial.

DB2 Security
- Establish a security plan

Accessing DB2 UDB Data
- Create a DB2 database on your own
- Catalog the DB2 database for use by other users
- Examine and manipulate the objects within that database
Working with Data in DB2 Universal Database
- List the fundamentals of SQL
- Provide access control to database objects by using Data Control Language (DCL)
- Create, modify, and drop database objects by using Data Definition Language (DDL)
