mrTables is a tabulation package with a drag and drop interface for building tables. Through this course you will quickly develop skills to create and manage tables-based analysis projects, no matter what your level of experience. You will also discover how the open environment of mrTables makes it easy to access and analyze data from several sources. Finally, you will learn to present your results professionally with the highly developed publishing facilities incorporated as standard within mrTables.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course. However, familiarity with keyboards, Microsoft Windows and the basic concepts of questionnaire design would be an advantage.
Course outline
- Understanding the mrTables desktop and how to customize it
- Opening data files
- Generating table layouts, from simple through to complex
- Displaying different sets of results within a table, such as raw counts, percentages and means
- Controlling titles and other aspects of how a table is presented
- Filtering the data to restrict analysis to sub-sets of the database
- Conducting statistical tests on tables of data
- Saving sets of tables Publishing tables and/or graphics to such applications as Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
