Role
This training path is appropriate for individuals in all roles relevant to the product.

Assumptions
It is assumed that the Operator following this roadmap has basic skills in the following areas:

  • Working knowledge of TSO/ISPF dialogs, basic JCL coding, and possess at least some basic operational experience in the z/OS environment
It is assumed that the Administrator following this roadmap has basic skills in the following areas:
  • Basic z/OS systems programming skills, including experience with the implementation of TSO/ISPF dialogs, MVS subsystems, VSAM datasets, RACF security, TCP/IP, XCF, VTAM, APPC, and Unix Systems Services HFS files
  • Students should also possess operational experience in the z/OS environment
