Search tips
- At least one filter selection or keyword must be specified to execute a search.
- Use double quotes (" ") to specify an exact phrase or when you need to use special search characters such as + or -
Examples: "c++", "end-to-end", or "Javaapplet" - Use a space between keywords if coursesmust contain both of the words or phrases
Java iSeries searches for courses containing both of the words Java andiSeries - Use a pipe character (|) if courses mustcontain at least one of the words or phrases.
Java | iSeries searches for courses containing either the word Java orthe word iSeries - Use a minus character (-) to exclude aword or phrase
Java -iSeries searches for courses thatcontain the word Java and not the word iSeries - Use the asterisk character (*) as awildcard to broaden your search
Program* searches forcourses containing words that begin with Program such as:Program, Programmer, Programming, Programmable, etc. - Combine these rules for advancedsearches
"Java Applet" + Program* -iSeries searches forcourses that contain the exact phrase Java Applet and a variationof the word Program (i.e. Program, Programmer, Programming,Programmable, etc.) but not the word iSeries - Some countries will redirect you to the IBM Training homepage in that country, where userscan search using local language and locations.
