How to get access to the Private brand website(s) for instructors
To gain access, you must:
- Register on the IBM website so you have an IBM ID and Password.
- Be an employee of a company that is both an accepted and active member of IBM PartnerWorld.
- Within your PartnerWorld employee profile, you have:
- Identified yourself as an employee of an active and approved IBM Authorized Independent Training Provider or as an Independent Instructor
- Have furnished your instructor qualifications and formal certifications
- Have affiliated yourself with at least one IBM software brand in terms of your teaching qualifications
- Have been notified of your acceptance by the specified IBM Software brand(s) as an instructor
With this, you will be automatically granted access to the private instructor site for the IBM software brand for which you have been accepted.
How to become a certified instructor for IBM Software
Applications to become an IBM certified Instructor may be submitted by individuals who are an employee of an active and approved IBM Authorized Independent Training Provider. The Training Provider must be approved for the IBM software product area (or brand) for which you are applying. To access the application:
- Login to your PartnerWorld Profile.
- Choose your Employee Profile (i.e. name + location combination)
- Choose the “Authorized Independent Training Instructor Program” link and complete and Save/Exit the application. It will ask you to choose a software brand for which you wish to be certified as well as questions validating your skills and experience.
Independent instructors may also apply to become an IBM certified instructor. Independent instructors will first need to join IBM PartnerWorld and establish a profile in order to access the IBM Certified Instructor application.
