There is no live instructor for this course, so it may not be appropriate for students who require the guidance of a live instructor. In such cases, students should consider the alternative versions of this course:
- Classroom delivery: IBM WebSphere Business Modeler V6.2: Process Simulation and Analysis (WB286)
- Instructor-led online delivery: IBM WebSphere Business Modeler V6.2: Process Simulation and Analysis (Remote) (VB286)
This two-day instructor-led course teaches students how to use IBM WebSphere Business Modeler V6.2 to conduct process simulation and analysis, create custom reports, and export process models into various formats.
This course provides students with an overview of business process simulation and analysis, with a focus on learning the concepts and skills needed to set up and run simulations in WebSphere Business Modeler V6.2. Students learn how to explore profiles and conduct a dynamic analysis of simulation results, as well as create custom reports and define business measures in process models. In addition, this course covers process improvement, how to export models from WebSphere Business Modeler, and how to apply statistical distributions to process models.
Hands-on lab exercises provided throughout the course enable students to gain direct experience working with WebSphere Business Modeler V6.2. Students learn how to define simulation settings, run simulations, conduct analyses of process models, create custom reports using style masters and report templates, define business measures, and monitor performance indicators. Students also learn how to redesign process models and conduct comparative analysis.
