This 5-day instructor-led course introduces developers to IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules modules, and teaches the concepts, architecture, components, processes, and procedures necessary to develop and implement an integrated business rule solution using IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules V7.0.
Through instructor-led presentations, product demonstrations, and hands-on lab exercises, you will learn the core features of IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules V7.0 and how to perform basic tasks, including:
- Setting up a business rule application based on Java
- Authoring, debugging, and reviewing the business rule artifacts required to implement enterprise business policies
- Working collaboratively with less technical business users so that they can maintain or develop more business rules independently
- Integrating the developed business rule artifacts within their enterprise environment
In addition to these core features, students also learn how to work with XML, simplify or enhance their authoring experience, set up the environment of less technical business users, control how business rule artifacts are executed, and identify rule governance issues.
In the intensive hands-on lab exercises, students produce a comprehensive business rule solution that demonstrates the core features of IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules V7.0. Step by step, these exercises let students apply their newly acquired core knowledge to design, develop, synchronize, and integrate the specified comprehensive business rule solution with IBM WebSphere ILOG JRules V7.0.
