This 3-day, instructor-led course teaches advanced skills and proven best practice methods for architecting, designing, and building a complex process solution. Students learn how to:
- Develop an application that enhances the functionality, usability, performance, and maintainability while integrating disparate systems and data sources
- Build a process application that incorporates rich user interactivity without sacrificing user response time
- Extend process visibility beyond direct process participants by including dashboards that expose real-time productivity and historical performance trends to line managers and executives
This is a very interactive course, where students work in teams to perform lab exercises. - Level 1 BPM Developer training, including experience building and deploying at least one IBM WebSphere Lombardi Edition process application

- Design a WebSphere Lombardi Edition data architecture for a process application with complex business data and a system of record
- Model all decision authority for a process and employ complex logic for task routing and assignments
- Construct complex task and process task-to-task interaction controls
- Identify and solve common issues with real-world integrations
- Create rich user interfaces for the WebSphere Lombardi Edition application without introducing adverse performance impacts
- Design and create reports, scoreboards, and dashboards to provide process visibility for multiple stakeholders and users across the organization
