Målgrupp
Business Partners, System Administrators, Architects and Storage specialists, and any one who needs to learn about IBM High End Disk products.
Förkunskaper
- Knowledge of SAN architecture and implementation
- Knowledge on some IBM High End Disk systems like ESS, DS8000 or DS6000 (architecture and configuration) and their Copy Services functions.
Mål
This workshop describes and provides the best practices of the different IBM High End Disk solutions for the Open environment. At the end of the workshop, students will be able to understand the architecture, the main features and the configuration of the different solutions. The workshop will also help the students to qualify the best solution regarding customer requirements and purpose the best configuration or tuning. Different remote demonstrations on the covered products are provided in complement to theoretical presentations (DS8000, SVC, TPC)
