Kursbeskrivning: InfoSphere Optim Designer for Optim Core Technology

This is the Classroom version of Instructor-led Online course InfoSphere Optim Designer for Optim Core Technology - ILO (3T151SE).

This course is designed to teach attendees how to use Optim Designer V2.2.3 and Optim Manager V2.2.3. Students taking this course must have taken the following courses:

• InforShphere Optim Data Growth for Archiving on Dist Systems (DT203SE)
• InforShphere Optim Data Growth for Archiving on Dist Systems - ILO (3T203) and
• Using InfoSphere Optim Test Data Mgmt and Data Masking on Dist Systems (DT213SE)
• Using InfoSphere Optim Test Data Mgmt and Data Masking on Dist Systems - ILO (3T213SE)
• Using InfoSphere Optim Core Technology on Dist Systems (DT293SE)
• Using InfoSphere Optim Core Technology on Dist Systems - ILO (3T293SE)

or the equivalent web based or self-paced virtual on-line course, or have the prerequisite knowledge prior to taking this course.

IBM Optim Designer is the standard, Eclipse-based GUI for all InfoSphere Optim (distributed) V8.1. In this course, you will learn how to setup the Optim Manager; learn how to use the Optim Designer objects necessary to support data growth and test data management objectives; and how to create and execute Optim Services.

You will create a data growth strategy to archive orders. You will create a right-sized privatized test environment from production with subsetting criteria and applied data privacy policies to de-identify and protect sensitive data. Finally, you will learn how to use Optim Manager to execute and manage Optim distributed requests as services.

This course is an intermediate course for IBM technical personnel involved in using Optim Designer and Optim Manager for building, publishing and executing InfoSphere Optim Distributed services.

• Use basic OS functions such as utilities, file permissions, hierarchical file system, commands and editor
• Discuss basic relational database concepts and objects such as tables, indexes, views and joins
• Use Optim 8.1 to create Optim requests ( InforShphere Optim Data Growth for Archiving on Dist Systems (DT203SE) or equivalent)
