This 3-day instructor-led course teaches you how to develop and deploy complete IBM ILOG ODM Enterprise applications.
ODM Enterprise is a configurable and extensible platform for building optimization models and using them to generate customized planning and scheduling applications. These applications allow users to compare multiple scenarios and perform 'what-if' analysis.
Through a combination of instructor-led presentations and exercises, you learn the concepts, architecture, components, and procedures necessary to develop and deploy applications and integrate them into existing systems. In the exercises, you follow a single problem through the stages of development and deployment, including integration with other systems. The techniques used in this course include Java and XML programming, and the subjects covered in this course include creating the Application Data Model, standard and custom views, standard and custom data integration, integrating an OPL optimization model with an ODM Enterprise application, and single-user and multi-user deployment.
This course does not cover optimization modeling, and the exercises use an existing optimization model as a starting point. The course is designed for programmers and other IT professionals who will be implementing the entire application, with the exception of the underlying optimization model.
