This eLearning offering is a Web-based Training (WBT). IBM SPSS WBTs are interactive multimedia modules that are intuitive and instructionally sound. Through visual content and audio, product demonstrations, hands-on learning activities, and simulation-based assessments and quizzes, the modules guide the students to mastering an IBM SPSS application.

We hope to describe the major considerations and decisions usually made when data mining is performed. Thus we will discuss whether a data warehouse is needed for data mining, the importance of evaluating the results from a perspective of business importance and being actionable, and the implications and alternatives involving missing or invalid data.
