This self-paced course focuses on the tasks required to deploy IBM License Metric Tool. The IBM License Metric Tool helps maintain an up-to-date inventory of the IBM distributed software assets in an IT infrastructure and measures the processor value units (PVU) that are consumed by them. In this course you learn to manage IBM distributed software inventory and audit reports, and maintain the IBM License Metric Tool environment. You also learn about virtualization, subcapacity, and full capacity license model concepts.
This course consists of recorded instructor presentations and lab demonstrations. It does not include live, hands-on labs. Lessons are download-and-play, and the student guide for the course is available under the Course Materials tab of the course information page.
