Course Overview:

This 3-day, self-paced course teaches core product skills and best practice methods required to install, configure, and manage an IBM WebSphere Lombardi Edition environment. Students will learn how to:

• Proactively monitor Lombardi process execution and perform basic configuration
• Explain how Lombardi interacts with the components of its application stack in order ensure to optimal configuration
• Define and manage user authorization and authentication using the Lombardi security provider

• J2EE, SQL, SOAP, and XML
• Administering multi-tier business applications
• Managing an application server, such as JBoss, WebSphere, or Weblogic
• Managing a database server, such as MS SQL Server or Oracle DB
