This 2-day instructor-led course teaches system administrators and deployers how to install, deploy, and administer IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository environments.

WebSphere Service Registry and Repository enables users to get the most business value from a service-oriented architecture (SOA) by facilitating the storage, access, and management of service metadata, so that services can be easily selected, invoked, governed, and reused.

This course includes instructor-led lectures and hands-on lab exercises, covering topics such as deployment topologies to support high-availability and scalability requirements, configuration of application security and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), and administrative interfaces. Students also learn about the information model and basic usage of WebSphere Service Registry and Repository using the Web UI console.
