This four-day instructor-led course is for administrators and implementers who are responsible for deploying a desktop single sign-on solution. Topics include an overview of the product, component installation and configuration, creating single sign-on profiles, and basic integration with IBM Tivoli Identity Manager. Hands-on lab exercises provide practical experience administering the product.

Students should be familiar with LDAP fundamentals. See course IBM Directory Server 6.2 System Administration (TW082), for more information. Students should also have basic operating system administration skills for Microsoft Windows 2003 Server with Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server Express, and IBM Tivoli Directory Server
